
A working meeting was held at “High Voltage Electric Networks” CJSC under the leadership of Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, Hakob Vardanyan. The meeting focused on the progress and upcoming steps of the “Iran-Armenia 400 kV Overhead Power Transmission Line and Noravan Substation” construction project.
The discussion was attended by the working group of “High Voltage Electric Networks” led by General Director Hayk Harutyunyan, as well as representatives of the project’s main contractor, Sanir company, headed by newly appointed Director Mansour Saeedi.
Deputy Minister Hakob Vardanyan emphasized the importance of the project for the energy systems of both countries and stated that the construction of the overhead transmission line and the Noravan substation must be carried out with high quality and within the set timeframe. He also noted that all necessary support would be provided to the main contractor to ensure the successful completion of the construction.
In turn, Sanir Director Mansour Saeedi expressed his gratitude to the Armenian partners for their prompt response and willingness to solve any issues related to the implementation of the project. He assured that every effort would be made to complete the construction of the Iran-Armenia high-voltage third transmission line and substation on time and to a high standard.
The construction of the line is divided into six sections and covers the Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor, and Syunik regions.
