A meeting of the Steering Committee of the “Caucasian Electricity Transmission Network” project was held.
The meeting of the Steering Committee of the “Caucasian Electricity Transmission Network” project took place under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Narek Apitonyan. The session was co-chaired by Frank Hess, Head of Cooperation of the EU Delegation, and Katrin Buder-Pelz, Economic Affairs Officer at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Finance Edgar Mkrtchyan; Acting Chief Executive Officer of “High Voltage Electric Networks” CJSC, Hayk Hayrapetyan; Director for Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia at KfW Development Bank, Veronica Garcia del Arco; KfW Regional Director Jens Hagen; Representative of the KfW Office in Armenia Zara Chatinyan; EIB Representative for the South Caucasus Stella Renita, as well as other partners.
During the meeting, participants discussed the current status of the “Caucasian Electricity Transmission Network” project, planned activities, and future financing arrangements.
